Golf is a great form of exercise and stress relief (as long as you're not beaching the ball). It can also wreak havoc on your spine if you're not careful.
The stats don't lie: chiropractic care can help your swing!
In a recent study, two groups of golfers took part in a stretching program. One group also received chiropractic care once a week for four weeks.
After four weeks, the golfers who received chiropractic care experienced significant improvement in their full-swing performance. The stretching-only group had no significant improvement. (J Chiro Med 2009;165-70.)
Dr. Trester can teach you how to strengthen your spine so it's prepared for 18 holes of swinging, walking and putting. He uses chiropractic adjustments to help golfers prevent injury, reduce pain, and optimize athletic performance.
Tips for a swing-friendly spine
In addition to regular chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Trester has a few key tips to help you and your spine survive a summer of hacking at balls in the rough.
